Our story

The London-based consulting firm Kemi Ltd was established by Judith Ruppert-Zoltowski, who has worked as a sustainability consultant since 2011. With projects all over the world including, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Indonesia, South Korea, China, Japan, USA, Canada, Russia, Poland, Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK, Judith has worked with companies of all sizes, industries and level of sustainability maturity.

Kemi’s core services include support with sustainability ratings, particularly EcoVadis assessments, as well as sustainability reporting and sustainable finance projects for Venture Capital funds. Since 2017, Judith’s main focus has been on EcoVadis assessments which renders her the longest serving EcoVadis consultant in the industry.

Our values

Having worked with 100+ companies on their sustainability management systems and strategy, has learned that those companies with the strongest and authentically lived values not only do well in employee engagement surveys but also perform best in sustainability assessments. We have therefore done a workshop with all Kemi employees, freelancers and partners to determine our core values for working as team but also when working with clients. These include:

  • We inform all clients about every step of the process. Within the team, we are open honest about our work-load, state of well-being and promote realistic capacity planning
